Words of wisdom from former AP Chemistry students.

New students to AP Chemistry for the 2009-2010 school year should look at the posts from former AP Chemistry students. I asked some of the former AP Chemistry students to write a post on what they found useful to be successful in the course. I can give advice, but the experience of a former student who finished the process is very valuable.

  1. Good luck to all you students taking on the challenge of AP Chem. I would like to pass on some advice to make your year more successful than my own. I highly recommend doing your homework every night, even when you know he will not be checking it, the practice will pay off. Also NEVER leave studying to the very last minutes, assuming you will somehow find a way to understand a concept in under 5 minutes. Like I said, good luck and have fun!! --hlw

  3. Good luck to everyone!
Don't get scared or anything the class is really not that hard if you do your homework which i highly recommend. Also READ the book, it might be boring and difficult and mind melting but it's worth it, trust me! Otherwise the class is easy and really fun.

  4. This class can be hard if you make it that way yourself, but ways to make it not hard as by doing your homework and reading the book. I highly recommend reading the book. If you read the chapter then you will have a better understanding on what you ear learning in class the next day. The book is a big help. Good luck with this class
